First post!
Yeah, so I wanted to leave a note in Mike's journal, so I made this account, and may or may not post in it. Who knows?
Anyway, I'm Brett, and I go to the University of Kansas. I love video games -- console RPGs in particular, but there are plenty of others that I like too. I rarely play PC games, though. Usually I only do when I'm at a LAN party. I'm also a Sci-Fi junkie. I love Babyon 5, Stargate (both SG-1 and the new Atlantis series), and plenty of Sci-Fi books. Anne McCaffrey and Orson Scott Card are two of my favorite authors, although, the only OSC books I've read are the Ender/Bean ones. I also like anime, for the most part. I'm not hardcore into it like some people, but most anime that I've watched, I've enjoyed. I'm also a webcomic junkie. There are over a dozen that I check on a regular basis. :D I'm currently addicted to the ongoing adventures of Jack Bauer (or "Jack Power" if you're my dad) on 24, which is such a great, addictive TV show. Recently I've finally become MMORPG free! I quit my FF11 account, and I'm not going back to Galaxies. The real trick now is resisting the call of City of Heroes! Maybe I'll play a bit on Menefee's account if he lets me, but that'll be much less time consuming than having my own account. I'm remaining strong! I won't get sucked in again to a game that consumes my every waking minute!
Oh, and I totally have the most wonderfullest, cutest, most amazing boyfriend in the world!!! Almost October... :D
