The House Always Wins - Part 1
Viva Las Vegas!
Quick update before I crash tonight. So, I got to Vegas, and no one was at the airport to pick me up. After waiting for 2-3 hours, and looking around, I finally bite the bullet and call Xeddy for advice. I didn't know what hotel I was going to, so I had him look it up online for me, and he told me to take a shuttle. So I finally made it to the hotel. I'm a place-filler for the Hearts games, cause they were two players short. I can't go to the finals or anything, but I can see how I actually rank. I've won one game, which is all I need to be happy with whatever rank I get. :)
Hearts Update
Game 1: 3rd Place (2 points)
Game 2: 1st Place (6 points)
Game 3: 4th Place (1 point)
After the Hearts stuff was over, I went to dinner with Case, Patti, and Rhonda, and afterwards, we went to play on the Monopoly slot machine. I'm so cheap that I can't really see myself getting into the whole "slot machine" thing. It's not all that fun to play, and you run out of money too fast. Ah well.
