The ring was actually one I picked out not too long ago, as budgeting concerns were starting to become an issue for Stuart and I. With the help of my friend Rachel, we scoured over the internet and found this lovely ring within our budget. Pleased as punch about how wonderful it looked, especially in the box. Stu and I both went "Oh wow!" when we initially saw this ring, so it was an easy choice.

the new house Stuart and I will be moving into in July!
I actually only got interior shots of it, sorry to say, but it's really adorable. We're going to be renting it out from his elder brother, who is looking for a new place of his own closer to his own girlfriend. In the meantime, knowing we're wanting not only to test out living together (but now will need a starting place of our own), he's offered up his house to us for MUCH cheaper than the going rate in Godalming.
The kitchen is completely redone, the heating system is completely redone, and the new lights in the house are absolutely wonderful. It's remaining mostly furnished for the time being, meaning it's an excellent starting point for Stu and I. We're very close to a couple grocery stores, a stone's throw away from the High Street of town, and about a 7 minute walk from the train station. I'm pleased as punch. The cottage is really gorgeous; I'm so thankful Stu and I will be living in it for at least a year.
Now, if you pardon me all, I do have last-minute cramming before the cycle of classes starts again tomorrow.
