Hmm. I can see a few characters working here, but I think Sigrun is a pretty good fit overall. She's pretty sarcastic most of the time, as can be noted from her party banter: Nathaniel: For a dead woman you're remarkably perky.
Sigrun: I could be less perky if you like. 'The darkness of the Deep Roads is seeped into my soul! The world is dead! My heart is black! Alas! Woe! Woe!' is one fine example. She's technically declared herself dead as a member of the Legion of the Dead, but she still retains a lot of curiosity about things around her and a pretty perky attitude, so I think that kind of fits with your 'life is too short not to have fun' attitude AND your pessimism (I could think of a few other characters who'd share that attitude, but they tend to be more social or more optimistic). She's also pretty impulsive, since as a Legionnaire of the Dead she doesn't really feel the need towards self-preservation that a lot of other characters do, I think. I wouldn't call her the 'loudest person in the room' either, and she's not very ( ... )

Oh, awesome Fei Long icon! XD I'm not overly familiar with DA, so I apologize if my vote is really off the mark...but from what I can gather of her character I think Sigrun seems like a good fit for your application! She seems like she'd be more comfortable either by herself or hanging out with a small group of people...but most of her dialogue comes across as pretty sarcastic too. She seems pretty curious about the world and can have some fun, but there's still an element of pessimism to her given her story. From what I can see, she comes across as more reserved than some of the other characters do...she's calm, impulsive, emotional, passive aggressive, insecure, more of a follower, and seems pretty unconventional. From what I've been able to gather about Sigrun, I think your scenario/DA-related question answers fit for her as well! :)

The character that jumped out at me the most was Sigrun. I also saw Shale, but that character didn't seem as nice a fit as Sigrun.

Your positive and negative traits sound quite a bit like her. You have a good sense of humor, something that she has as well despite her blunt nature. Your interest in books is very similar (according to her character snippet, she expresses an interest in books given her upbringing in society). Also, a number of your "Are you more..." answers sound like her. For instance, I could see her not minding protecting others, but having an issue with being bound, so to speak. Another example would be your answer to the experience new things/stick to what you know question. She'd agree with your "It's good to be open to new ideas" statement as she's a curious individual in general.

I keep thinking Anders for you as I read your app. Your answer to becoming a Grey Warden reminds me of how he hates being bound to things. Also, what you said about being tolerant of others beliefs as long as they present their beliefs isn't offensive makes me think of him (he hates the Tower, but is pretty laid-back, which I assume means that he doesn't devote a lot of energy to it?)

Lol, and let's not forget the fact that he likes CATS (and that fact is important!)

I was considering Shale for a good part of it, but overall agree with Sigrun as she's more impulsive-- she's always willingly charging into the fray, plan or no. (She considers herself already dead, so it doesn't quite matter to her one way or another.) She's trustworthy, has a more sarcastic sense of humor, and is more the type to be with a small group. She also can be pessimistic while still having an upbeat attitude about it, which is fairly rare-- she may think something is doomed to utter failure, but she'll have no problem trying it anyway. She also seems to have no problem following, as she does so in both the Legion of the Dead and the party. I can see her agreeing with most of your situational responses as well, especially since she does seem capable of viewing the bigger picture rather than going with at-the-moment moral decisions.
