Survivor: The Ultimate Showdown (survivor_ultra): Is a casual blend of reality online gaming and character based RPG. Players are asked to represent a character from a particular genre, and strategize as they think that character would, while competing in trivia and time-based challenges. The game will test the social aspect of the game just as much as it tests playing ability. This season, hosted by Moaning Myrtle, 16 characters from HARRY POTTER will be put to the test at Outwitting, Outplaying, and Outlasting each other. The contestants will be divided by four tribes to decide once and for all which house prevails above the others. Will it be the brave and loyal Gryffindors? The logical and intelligent Ravenclaws? The sly and cunning Slytherins? The humble and yet powerful Hufflepuffs? In the end, only one witch or wizard can claim the title of sole survivor...
Now Accepting Applicants for all houses!!! "Trio era" students only (this is to say, only characters that were students during the actual canon books may apply. Sorry Remus and Sirius lovers. Maybe another season?) Currently looking for characters from each of the houses!

When the Ministry of Magic adopts computers as an experimental method of faster communication, a select group of employees is left to test it, keeping journals that chronicle the turbulent time that follows when the Dark Mark appears for the first time since Voldemort's death. Currently looking for Arthur Weasley, Zacharias Smith, former Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, older adults like Remus Lupin and Kingsley Shacklebolt and any Death Eaters at the moment so check it out!

Compitum begins two months after the point where HBP left off. Although June began with an ominous event that seemed to bode ill for the near future, the rest of the summer passed oddly uneventful. The Death Eaters have been seen nowhere, have terrorised nothing, and, perhaps most importantly, have killed no one. However, Wizarding society is far from at ease, and the Daily Prophet headlines constantly speak of upcoming attacks and impending doom. This time, Harry Potter refuses to sit and wait - inactivity does, after all, simply breed more tragedy. Since the wedding of Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley, the Trio has been tirelessly researching the four items that are key to Voldemort's demise: the Horcruxes. Currently looking for a Neville Longbottom and Remus Lupin! Game is not set to start until 22 February.

We began with a lovely early morning narratve this week, in which Seamus finally had to remove himself from Dean's side. Don't be too alarmed. The owls start up again as Dean's already missing Seamus and Seamus... lists off his good qualities. Pff, as if we need to be reminded!! ♥ Dean certainly doesn't seem to eager to change a thing about Seamus, and then here all us readers just get distracted by lovely lovely broom innuendo. And some talk of arse beating and shopping!kink to go along with it. Only makes sense, really.
So the boys are counting down the days until they see each other again, waiting sorta kinda almost patiently.
Unfortunately, they took a blow in the form of Dean's talk with his parents. It doesn't end well, and is a must-read for the impact on Dean and his relationship with Seamus. That's all detailed in the following narrative which is, goodness gracious, the hottest thing I've read in quite a while. NC-17, ladies and gents. Beautifully, beautifully NC-17.

Oh you poor boys, your baby is growing up and she really really wants to know why boys have penises and she doesn't. This is a talk I so didn't want to miss. What's that followed by Where's mine has to be some of the most hilarious questions evah. Draco makes a few, err, inappropriate comments about how small and feeble Harry is even while Harry is set to tell the world how impressive Draco is. Nappies or embarrassing talks... hmm, I think I'd go for nappy duty as well. Harry puts his foot down and refuses sex in front of Emmy anymore and I have to agree with that decision. Who knows when she might start shouting out encouragement. Discussions of their lack of knowledge about girly bits occur and, Harry, you had me sporfling with the "...neither of us have, uh, been in the vagina business..." line.

It hasn't been a good week for Parvati Patil. Her boyfriend has been found guilty of working with the Order of the Phoenix and, now, she's been called in to answer about her participation. Seamus Liam sends her an owl with good news though it doesn't do much to alleviate her fears. To further help, Liam asks Goyle for any information he might have. The interrogation, however, doesn't go quite as either predict. Bellatrix shows that she knows more than anyone thought but, in the end, finds Parvati unworthy of her time. Liam is left to clean up the pieces and the tears.
After Parvati recovers, Dean Thomas owls, asking for that lunch to discussion the situation with Seamus Liam.
There is happier news, or at least, it makes me happy. The Devil's Snare gets frisky and so does Neville and Ginny. It's just too bad that the Devil's Snare goes a bit too far so that Neville and Ginny couldn't. Darn you, Devil's Snare! Poor Neville, I'm cheering for you both to figure it out and soon.
Snape has some very treasonous thoughts and it seems all is not well in the Death Eater camp. Especially with Charlie mucking up the plans.
Hermione, meanwhile, is busy recruiting and gathering the troops. She met with Penelope Clearwater and then with Susan Bones and Terry Boot. She then meets with Moody about the new recruits. Her conversation with Moody goes better than the one she had with Ron earlier. What instructions did Harry give you? What is so important about that key? Inquiring minds demand want to know.

It was Hogsmeade weekend in the Vuniverse! Parvati Patil quite enjoyed herself, along with some guy named James Bond Blue. But Hogsmeade isn't the only event. Morag strongly hints at an upcoming occasion, one which Su seems all to happy to celebrate.
Not everything is worth celebrating, though. Daphne makes an urgent post to Zach to which Zach replies - but there's also the problem of Pansy at the door and Harry watching closely. Oh, what a tangled web!

There have been a many holy non-HP characters floating around in the Room lately, but HP prevails! After all, we see some shocking footage of a one Harry James Potter, don't we? Keeping up appearances, Harry, I love it. Oliver Wood also talks of keeping up appearances
Another Harry makes a, erm, curious announcement, and we see the wonders of alcohol making another comeback in the dressing room. A common theme, it seems! As are these magical and mystical things called 'YouTube videos' that are catching on like Muggles catch cold.
But let's all take a moment for poor ickle Terry looking helpless and lost, because really. He doesn't get the warmest welcome, does he?
