If there was such a thing as Tolkien Dwelling Place Monopoly, the purple squares - the really expensive ones - would be Taniquetil & Tirion. The green ones would be Gondolin, Nargothrond and Menegroth. The red ones would be Balar, Tol Eressea & Númenor. The orange ones would be Lórien, Imladris & Lindon. The pink ones would be Rohan, Gondor & Arnor. The blue ones would be Moria, Belegost and Nogrod. The brown ones would be Hobbiton and Bucklebury.
Jail would obviously be Angband. In order to get out, you need a "Get out of Jail Free" card, to roll a double or a lover cousin with an eagle.
The utilities are a little difficult; I'd go with Palantírí & Galadriel's Mirror.
The four stations would have to be ports: Alqualondë, Mithlond, Haven of Umbar & Rómenna.
The playing pieces would be a Silmaril, a (reforged) Sword, a Ring, a Ship & a Horse.
And what about the Chance & Community Chest cards?
