Christmas Eve found Lisa reading in the living room while Oliver took a shower. The rest of his family was set to start arriving just before dinner. Gram's sister, Evelyn, was upstairs, napping in the guest bedroom and Gram herself was fussing about in the kitchen, putting the roast in the oven. She had set the dining room table and put the last few presents under the tree. Everything seemed to be in order.

Still, Gram had a bad feeling. She probably should have sat down and talked to Oliver about it. He always swore she'd developed a bit of late life divination skill. Gram had felt sick at her stomache the entire week before Oliver's accident, and looking back on it, she wished she'd made more of an effort to decipher the feelings in time. She'd had a similar feeling all the week, though less intense than any she felt before. It was more of a feeling akin to leaving a fire going when no one was home or forgetting to ward the house. She assumed, if anything, there might be a sprain when the boys played Quidditch. She made a promise to herself to talk to Oliver after dinner. The feeling was growing as the day went on and she was determined to decipher it's meaning this go round.

"Lisa," Gram said with a soft smile, poking her head into the living room. "I've got to run this food down to an old widow in the village. I invite her tae dinner every year and she refuses, so I figure if she won't come tae dinner, I just have tae bring dinner tae her." Gram smiled, stepping fully into the room, a basket laden with food in her hands. "Tell Oliver, won't you? Everythin' should be fine 'til I get back, but in case anyone arrives while I'm gone, can ye entertain them until I get back?" Gram smiled and after hearing Lisa's answer, apparated away.
