Night out with the guys
So, took off Friday night to go drink and ply poker with some of my second and third shift chemist friends. It was a good time had by all. I do miss my second shift comrades. I have been unable to participate in their reindeer games for several months now. I am glad that I took the day off. It was worth it.
At the end of it all, I ended up having another conversation with Kateri, my new friend. It turns out that my other friends were concerned about us getting to know eachother too quickly, but now that concern is over. It seems that the original judgement that lead to our introduction was still very well founded.
So now I have a new friend, and even less sleep. Ah, well. It is worth it. She understands that soon she too will be ignored due to my busy schedule. It turns out that she does the same thing, it is all good by her.
This does bring me to realize that I have put things off again. I have several things to mail, including a care package for Frozen Tokyo. I am so bad at getting things done, but I have improved despite the years.
Time for a few hours of sleep before work. I have to remember to do that as well.
