It exceeded my expectations. :) BD2 was a fantastic way to end the series.
The film was so pretty to look at. Great colors and details. I loved the beginning credits, and really loved the end credits with the whole Saga's cast included. It was like a love letter to the fans. And the pages turning of the book, was so beautifully done. I seriously got a bit choked up.
I really wish they had a regular baby instead of Foy's CG face superimposed on the infants, and smaller children. It was so creepy, and just did not look right or real to me. It got better with each child that grew, but still, my least favorite part.
One of the funniest moments was when Bella was beating up Jacob. Especially Edward's reaction to it. HA! And the end was funny too when Edward tells Jake he cannot call him "Dad." Though I think Jacob was teasing him.
I also really loved when Edward scooped Ness up in his arms. That was so sweet.
It was also funnier than I was expecting. Emmett, Garrett, Charlie and Aro cracked me up.
So yea, I loved it, and think it is way better than the book.
