And I think he’s a great deal more pragmatic when it comes to...well, most of his peers. Unlike Batman or Superman, Oliver Queen has killed people. (Coincidentally, so has Roy and Mia.) He joined the secret league and stood by as Zatanna mindwiped Batman and altered the minds of villains. He joined the Justice League Elite, the short-lived grittier version of the JLU, and was a member of the Outsiders. If it came down to it...yeah, just like he was ready to put an arrow through Onomatopoeia’s skull, I think among the main on/off roster of JLU members he’d be one of the most likely to kill the Joker if it would save lives. (The other one, offhand, would be Wonder Woman.)
About women: Oliver Queen likes dangerous women, and likes Dinah most of all. This doesn’t stop him from sleeping around, as he’s, as I alluded to, instinctual. He feels like dogshit after, and he knows what he’s doing is a huge mistake but he still sleeps with that one woman in one of Judd Winnick’s early runs.
How he reacts to Dinah would depend on if this is before or after he cheats on her and she suspects this. If it’s before, flirt away. If it’s after...he cares about her, and he feels like dogshit, but it’s Dinah who made the first move to reconcile their relationship and be friends.
