First of all, props for playing Haru. Haven't seen too many of her around.

It really does depend on the point you decide to take her from. As far as overall advice goes, Haru's kind of... low-energy. Oh, a squealing fangirl? Eh. Cool, I guess. Hey, this boy's kind of hitting on me. How about that. Hey, check it out. Demons are out to kill me and it's raining fire. Tch. Guess I'm toast. It might be nerves of steel, but I'm pretty sure that she's just tired and sick of life for most of the game. She really doesn't care about anything, least of all whether she lives or dies.

Really, my first impression when I encountered Haru was "burnout." She's tired, her eyes are usually half-open, and she can't even be bothered to fix her dress when anyone taller than her is probably getting an eyeful.

I'd have to replay to be 100% positive on this, but I'm pretty sure she knows that Aya's not coming back, and she knows Gin's hiding that from her. She has little to no faith in herself, and now that she doesn't have a person to live for, she's completely lost and disillusioned. So yeah. Bitter, heavy, her emotions being more or less a flat line. After the big reveal about Aya/if you choose to go with her path, then she manages to stand on her own two feet, so to speak. In a way, she's still doing it for Aya, but it's with her own strength. She still doesn't act like it's a huge super serious deal, since she's making offhand comments about lockdowns messing with your sleep habits and shoo, shoo, she needs a few more hours, but her determination is obvious. That's probably the first time in canon she's thinking "I can do this." If you're taking her from after that point, then her confidence might still be shaky, but it's there. If you're taking her from before, well... maybe if she meets another strong, positive character, then she can latch onto them.
