* Zexion is and has been a Nobody for ten years. Perhaps he was a decent individual before he lost his heart, perhaps not; it's not clear, but what is clear is that somewhere along the way he became corrupted by the darkness, just as the other apprentices had, and deteriorated. I should think that after ten years of remaining an emotionless shell he's become very good at acting, which aids him in his manipulation, but, logically, I see him as the sort who wouldn't let any fake emotions fool himself. Deep down I'm sure he knows they're just an illusion, much like his element.

* Zexion is not blatantly evil. His kind of evil is, as I said before, subtle, and not malicious so much as there to shift things in, again, the favor of himself and the Org. Zexion is a planner, so I can't see him doing anything twisted without a reason. He isn't Larxene, for crying out loud, meaning that Zexion isn't really a hardcore sadist.

* Now, if you're playing him with a heart it's possible for character development to change him. I personally think playing him with a heart is really difficult because of his personality, and it would likely put a damper on his manipulation eventually due to, you know, feelings. This isn't to say he'd be a softy; quite the opposite... but they would be something to adjust to after ten years.

* Personally, I can't see Zexion as vengeful. Yes, Axel and the Replica screwed him over, meaning that there could be tension (I like to think that he'd put the blame on Axel, the Replica just being a tool), but he wouldn't likely plan out some elaborate scheme to do Axel in. Perhaps mess with him if there's a reason and consider him a traitor, but nothing too extreme, IMO.

* Zexion is loyal to the Organization, yes. He did remark about the traitors as a kink in the rope that binds them. However, this does not mean that Zexion is Xemnas' pet. I'm inclined to believe that he is among the loyalest of the bunch, but that doesn't mean he relies on Xemnas' every orders. Some people tend to make him a bit too tied to what he says to a point where he's a mindless drone who does nothing but wait for Xemnas to give commands. Likely he respects Xemnas and the higher-ranking members, but if the need arises, he'd act on his own if it benefited himself or the Organization.

* Lexaeus. The two are very respectful towards one another, which is understandable considering the fact that they were colleagues even before they lost their hearts. That being said, Zexion isn't clingy or reliant, really. I personally see the two as the sort to engage in conversations (not that Lexaeus is very talkative) and generally be on good terms, but when Lexaeus dies Zexion doesn't really seem to mourn so much as act concerned about the state of the Organization. But he is a Nobody as well, so true attachment isn't really possible.

* I think it's implied in one of the novels that Zexion actually doesn't 'like' Vexen that much. It wouldn't surprise me, either, since he didn't seem to say much when Vexen is killed other than the fact that it's deplorable to see Organization members striking each other down. I'd love to find that novel translation to show, but I've lost the link. All I know is that it was posted to 0_kh at some point.

* Deplorable. It seems to be something Zexion says occasionally, but much like with Axel's catchphrase, it's not something to be overused. Perhaps occasionally have him comment that something is deplorable, but not to a point where it's every other sentence/entry/etc.

* Okay, now here's for fighting. Zexion isn't that much of a fighter, but when he does, he can be pretty crafty. Trapping people in books, hiding himself among illusion books, and sometimes doing something as epic as copying attacks or using METEOR if you miss his little spotlight thing. What I think this shows is that, as far as more magic-based fighting goes, Zexion can stand his ground fair enough. I actually own Final Mix +, and let me tell you, Zexion is pretty quick on his feet. His biggest downfall would probably be his lack of physical strength beyond his illusions and the amount of damage he takes; the guy seems pretty vulnerable.

* Despite being polite, Zexion can be a little bit snarky sometimes. Not to the level of Riku and other characters, but he has his own moments, although they're usually cleverly phrased and subtle.

And yeah...I probably went overboard, even if most of this is revised copypasta I made ages ago. Hopefully this helps, though. |D
