homestuck fanrp with ocs
I’ll just cut right to the chase: I started rereading Homestuck and now I’m looking for someone to write a Homestuck fansession with! Fandaventure? Fan rp game? Basically we just make our own characters and thrust them into an SBURB/SGRUB session.
I’ve got super complicated feelings about Homestuck like many fans do, but I always found the main concept of “group of friends play a game and are thrust into the apocalypse with the goal of creating a new universe ft shenanigans along the way in a character driven story” to be really fun. So I thought it’d be equally fun to make our own characters and story with that core concept!
Would love to make our own session with its own twist and turns along the way with humans and trolls who are shoved together to work to the end goal. The session itself wouldn’t be without its glitches or problems, of course - there’s fun to be had with the drama! ;)
I’ll be honest, I don’t have the full head for the technicalities of SBURB as shown in canon, so I’m way more than willing to do our own thing or just cherry pick stuff and put our own spin on it. [Or do some studying if you want to get into all the nooks and crannies of all of that!]
I am:
- I’m specifically looking for someone to write LGBT relationships with! I generally don’t like writing m/f and prefer writing other pairings instead, but I’m all game if the m/f characters aren’t cishet and/or it’s a girlboss/malewife situation. [That’s a personal favorite of mine, hehe]
- Fine with writing adult themes [violence, language, substance usage, sexual content]
- Someone who writes multiple paragraphs! I don’t like single paras!
- Fine with character death. [In the Homestuck sense ofc! As in they don’t really permanently die, what with the dream bubble and alternate timelines and stuff]
- Fine with troll/human, human/human, troll/troll relationships, as well as various relationship statuses and arcs. [Unrequited love, couple breaking up and one or both getting with other characters, exploring unhealthy relationships, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and more! I don’t like love triangles much, though, fair warning.]
- Fine with picking from canon and doing our own worldbuilding or making headcanons on worldbuilding canon in our rp! I don’t want to include any of the racist/antisemitic/ableist/homophobic worldbuilding stuff Hussie threw into worldbuilding.
- Totally down for making it an actual fanadventure on, say, mspfa! Like with pixel work and everything! Mostly I just wanna have fun with someone, though.
I am looking for:
- Someone who’s 18+! [Even better if you’re 20+ like me! I’m 23!]
- Someone who doesn’t only play bottom or submissive characters! Idc if they’re not submissive outside of bed, I just find it really annoying to have to write with locked roles like that, sorry. Let our characters breathe a little!
- Someone who doesn’t like… idk how to word this! Heteronormalizes gay relationships I guess? Like playing feminine willowy bottom guys against broad masculine top guys or vice versa with a lesbian couple.
- Someone who doesn’t do single paragraphs or less. Again, I like writing, hehe!
- Someone who doesn’t just shoot a “I saw your ad and was interested in rping” or similar message! Seriously, gimme something to work with like who you are and your age and what you’re feeling about it! Otherwise I'll just delete it!
- Someone who also gets invested in character stuff and worldbuilding would be nice! Like I am for sure gonna send over videos and playlists that make me think of our characters and stuff. >:)
- Someone who can write multiple characters, this one’s super important! There are going to be a number of characters to write. We don’t have to go the full extent of 12 Alternians per four humans, but I def don’t wanna just do like, a 1x1 thing with characters here! I was thinking there’d be at least four humans, but we can float around some ideas. Bottom line is there’s a multitude of characters we write!
…That’s all, I think! I’ve got more thoughts in mind but they’re not necessary for an ad and I’d rather we just pick through stuff together. I’m gonna post this ad in a couple places, see who bites, so I’m sorry if you see this ad multiple times and are annoyed hehehe.
