Medieval Fantasy [Originals, M/M, M/F, E-mail, Advanced]

Hello! My name's Ember and I'm here, just like everyone else, to find a partner to roleplay with.

Right now I'm looking for someone to join me on an original plot idea set in a medieval fantasy world, but before I go into any details here's some info about me:

• I'm 21, F
• I live in the UTC+1 time zone (or central European)
• I have about 7 years of roleplaying experience
• I roleplay in third person and past tense
• I consider myself to be literate. I write multiple paragraphs (minimum of perhaps 3 at my shortest and... there is no real maximum), and sometimes novella. I do not do rapid fire responses and I value both quality and quantity. I do tend to match my partner's post length but I would still like to keep the quantity up without sacrificing quality.
• I'm a lover of world building! Creating new lands, religions, continents, cultures... I just love that stuff.
• I'm also a lover of realistic characters who are neither good nor evil. Morally grey, you could call it, just like how it is in real life.

Now that we've got that out of the way let's skidaddle over to the plot itself.



Tadaa!

The Plot

To the south of our fictional continent lays a kingdom ruled by a well respected king. This king likes to collect and keep concubines, or rather, slaves. Others refer to them as his "toys" or "pets" (maybe he refers to them in the same way?). He has a handful of them and they're each carefully picked out and brought to him by his servants (his slavers). One day he is presented with the newest catch; a small group of northmen. The northernmost kingdom is on the opposite side of a treacherous sea and therefore this latest catch is quite the rare one.

The king ends up deciding on one particular northman to keep for himself and this is ultimately how our characters meet.

Northmen, as seen from the viewpoint of the southerners, are stubborn, brash and brutish people who only respond to violence. There's been a thick tension between the two nations for years and maybe they're even at war during the time our roleplay takes place, which makes the king's new pet even more prized.

The story will focus on our characters' relationship. It will start out hostile, which only makes sense. The northman is furious and hateful and not at all as docile and compliant as the king perhaps would want him to be. Or maybe he enjoys this violent behaviour? It will for the most part take place within the palace grounds and we can take our sweet time to build it up and describe it however we want it to be. We will follow the development of their relationship and see how it affects every day life in the palace.

There would also be a language barrier between our two characters, unless the king speaks the northman's language. I just like the idea of our characters having to communicate in different, creative ways while my character learns the southern language.

Now, a few points.

• I'm meaning for this roleplay to contain romance in one form or another. I am completely 100% fine with things being purely hateful and abusive. The two could beat and fight each other and I would enjoy it just as much. I am also completely 100% fine with turning their relationship softer. Maybe, as they spend more time together, both grow more mellow and eventually it could turn into a loving relationship. Maybe the king isn't harsh to begin with. Maybe he treats his pets with kindness and dignity! Or maybe he simply sees them as objects to use for his pleasure.
• This roleplay may also contain magical elements! Like some magical creatures perhaps, alchemy... My character might also awaken some powers after being forced into a hotter climate and experiencing trauma.
• While the king does keep multiple concubines, this story isn't intended to focus on all of them on a detailed level. With this I mean that you and I will both play one main character. It isn't a "harem" type of roleplay. This isn't to say that I don't love to keep a cast of characters! I love including side characters such as antagonists and deuteragonists, but I still want us both to have one "main" character that we use the most. The focus won't be on each individual concubine though we can definitely focus more on maybe one or two of them as we progress in the story.
• This roleplay idea is originally intended for a 1v1 m/m relationship. On afterthought, though, I came to the conclusion that we could potentially have it be a m/m/f or a m/f. When I say m/m/f, here is what I mean: The king keeps both male and female concubines and when he is presented with the new slaves brought in from the north there is a selection of both men and women. He picks one man and one woman. In the case of a m/f relationship, he is simply just interested in women. This brings me to another important note:

Should you be interested in this idea but would prefer it to be a m/f centered or a m/m/f centered story, I have one limit that is critically important for you to know.

I will not in any way, shape or form include the topic of pregnancy and/or impregnation in this story. This is just a personal limit of mine and I would like it if you respected that. Should the king have a preference for women or both men and women, the women will not be used for or subjected to pregnancies. I put this as an "important limit" because, while it isn't controversial, I know that it's kind of odd? And uncommon. But it is a limit nevertheless.

A potential solution to give this logical meaning in the story could be that each female concubine is given some form of drought or elixir when they arrive to render them infertile. Or something!

Also, on another note, women are not second class citizens in this story. It is medieval, but it's also fantasy, and there's a reason I don't like writing historically accurate roleplays. Basically, there can be queens just like there can be kings. The first born heir will inherit the throne regardless of gender, and women can be land owners etc etc. Nothing crazy. This won't affect the roleplay but I just want to make it clear.

Now that we're done with that part, what am I looking for in a partner?

You:

• Please be 20+. This is because this story will obviously include mature and adult themes. Violence, sex, you name it.
• Have at least a couple years of experience in roleplaying.
• Have an interest in world building! I want us both to create this new kingdom together.
• Write in third person, past tense, and be able to write multi para. You know, be able to keep up the quantity without sacrificing quality.
• Be literate. I'm looking for literate, serious writers here.
• Roleplay via e-mail. I can do OOC via Discord or Hangouts or whatever quick-reply platform there is out there. So long as the roleplaying takes place via e-mail.
• Be of any gender, just don't be a creep. Fairly simple, right?
• Be able to reply at least... maybe, once a week? I will do the same. And if you for some reason cannot reply for an extended period of time but are still interested in the roleplay, please send me a headsup! Again, I will do the same for you.

More important points (dealbreakers, I suppose)!

• I am looking for someone to play the king character while I play the concubine/s. Should you prefer the m/m/f route, I will play both the female and the male concubine. You can of course claim and control any of the other pre-existing concubines as side characters (not the northmen), and I can of course claim and control other characters like guards, knights, servants, or other people of high status.
• I also need to include, since this story will contain smut, that I am looking for someone to play a dominant character. In this context, by "dominant" I mean that I would like the king to be... well, dominant. In the beginning I want him to be dominant both in personality and in bed, but later as we progress in the story perhaps our characters come down to a more even ground, in non-sexual contexts.
• Another dealbreaker for most people: I'd like for the king character, your main character, to prefer the top role in the bedroom in the case of a m/m relationship. This is just my preference. My main character will be a bottom sub, but any other character of mine can have other preferences, i.e., I can have dominant top side characters or switch versatile characters.

Are you still here? Neat! So, before I go, I think I'll include some... kinks, I suppose. Since this roleplay obviously includes some smutty themes I think it's called for that I write in detail what I'm particularly interested in.

Kinks:

• Light bondage (hand, wrist and ankle restraints)
• Age gaps (this isn't a kink per se, but still kinda? I'm talking maybe a 15-ish year gap max.)
• Punishments (spankings, slapping)
