Marvel: Art of War is an alternate-universe Marvelverse game set in 1963.
It is a time in history like no other. There are those who feel that they are standing on the dawn of a golden age while others feel that the threat of nuclear war will tear the nation apart. The fire of the Civil Rights Movement is beginning to blaze with men and women standing up against oppression at home even as a new fight looms ahead in Southeast Asia.

A Few of the Things We're Looking For:

Art of War is a game that will deal with mature themes, possibly including violence and/or sexual situations. This isn't to say that maturity always comes with age but having an age limit helps ensure that our players aren't put into uncomfortable situations.
+ Friendly players!
Everyone at Art of War is pretty easy-going. We'd like to see the same in new applicants. RP is for fun, not DRAMA.
+ Willingness to join in on plotting!
While the mod loves to plot, this is a game designed for players to collaborate. If you have ideas, we want to hear them.
+ An interest in playing with alternate history!
We don't expect people who app this game to be experts on history. (Though don't worry, if you are, we'll be happy to hear it.) What we do hope for, however, is people who are willing to have fun and use snippets of history thrown out by the mod from time to time as plot background.
+ A desire to have fun!
This is meant to be a game in which people have a good time while getting the chance to play some of their favorite characters. We want people who are willing to play with a number of other characters and have a positive attitude about gaming in general.
