As he stepped out of the mountainous fortress, he felt the welcoming breeze brush against his pale cheeks. Sun shined brightly down on the prince of darkness as he stepped out from under the gaping entrance, in which he was not phased by it's violent makeshift 'teeth' and 'eyes' upon it. Slowly the man walked further outward and stood dangerously on the edge of the cliff that loomed over the forest below.
He felt so out of place. Sticking out like sore thumb. But this was how an evil prince of darkness is suppose to be. It was in the summer that he could see the bright beauty this world could give... To think. He wanted to plunge this world into the dark; sacrificing this beauty. Would he really want to waste such a wonderful thing... would he?
Chase pressed a hand against his forehead and raked his fingers down his face, pulling at his skin. What was he thinking? This... this that was all around him was ridiculous! Bright and gay colors? Who would want that? It was annoying! And it hurt his eyes. Infuriating!
His dark brown, cat-like eyes scanned the area below him again his face becoming a notch softer. This was... a beautiful summer's day though...
