SINCE I WAS SO RUDELY KICKED OUT OF THE OTHER ONE WHILE ANSWERING A QUESTION.
Regarding the "end" of paixaorpg and "Andrei", my dear anons:
OH OH I KNOW THIS ONE I WAS TOTALLY THERE
It started with how her co-mod and (I think she was a co-mod too) teamed up together and literally stole the comm away from "Andrei", changing the passwords and shit so she couldn't get back in. They held it "hostage" for... uh, I forgot how long.
Then for some fucked up reason they gave it back after Andrei had created a second Paixao comm and told everyone to move there. Half of the playerbase stayed at the original and half moved. Everyone had the option to "start over" if they moved, though. The two people who stole it dropped out, and pretty much everyone important followed suit.
I stayed at the new game for a while, but then she abandoned it and it died.
Andrei randomly decided a whole big clique of people was involved with the stealing of the comm even though it was just the two mods and apparently she still hate everyone's guts over it and kept saying we kept BRINGING IT UP ALL THE TIME TO SOIL HER NAME even years later.
lol whoops I guess I just brought it up again. 2 years later.
It's not dead if it's still running. She gave it to other people a longgg time after the drama ended, if irc.
It wasn't a random decision; various people were in on it, they knew what was going on. I was there, I should know.
She could have banned everyone outright, except afterward, the one who hacked it begged for mercy and cocksucked a little but realized they had fucked it up beyond belief and just left. As did the entire crew of their friends.
By Andrei do you mean Ang? As far as Paixao goes, she was always known as Ang there.
But, yeah, this is pretty well 2 anna half years ago and the game never died. The mods and players there continued/are continuing run it to this day, despite Ang's sudden departure over a year ago now. The last oldest mod, Zeth, just stepped down recently, kinda ending an era, so to speak.
Apart from a brief time she poked into chat a few months later saying something about a new game and maybe coming back, we haven't heard anything really from her since. We assumed she'd moved on... \(O_o)/
At anyrate, we certainly have. Most current players don't even know about this epic old drama, honestly, and those that do just lol when it's brought up. Only one player left who was there then and remembers some of what happened. So, lol XD As far as Paixao of today goes, this is srsly ancient history now.
Its interesting that you say all of you guys have moved on gotten over it and it's "ancient history" in the comm's eyes..... she still has osme bitter grudge about it. constantly bawwed about it over at one of her newest places (rivelata)
Ahhh... I see... ^^; I've known her as being her and Ang so... after nearly 2 years old habits die hard, but anyways, you know who I'm talking about so... XD
Well by "all us guys", I mean the current mods/players of the game. Yeah, I'm one of them. (In fact I probably couldn't be more obvious, but anyways XD;)
I couldn't tell you how those who were actually involved (or who were even just there at the time) feel about it as they left the game ages ago, many before Ang did. There are a few who came along after that summer and are still around who knew a little about it, but it's still second hand knowledge. What we do know largely comes from Ang's rants back in the day and a bit of info from that one player shared sometime after a post like this and some of our players were all "...Huh? What are they talking about?" Lol
I noticed stuff about Rivelata in the last post. I didn't know for sure it was Ang's game till today, but I always suspected it was cause the graphics looked like her style. I can't say it surprises me to hear she's almost lost interest, but still kinda holding on. Sounds like Paixao all over again. D: Up till she left, she'd been on hiatus a LOT. It stunned us though when she suddenly left/de-modded herself etc. since she was pretty protective of the game and such, but there were no hard feelings or anything.
o rly. interesting to hear it's history repeating itself. rivelata and onorata were both hers and she's pretty much dropped em, though I hear now she's going to be over at that new sex rp.
History has a habit of doing that. A shame though for those left on the games. Oh, I'd never heard of Onorata... haha She'd almost started another game too back when she was still around Paixao... the killing tree or something. It never got off the ground. OH and there was that pirate-y one. I can't remember the name though XD Far as I know it died too. She held onto Paixao the longest it seems, but yeah.
She just... lost interest more and more. It went in waves.. she'd vanish, then pop back all excited and with new characters... then hiatus... drop chars... then come back and redo the comms and new chars again. Her last go, she didn't even get to threading with them before she hiatus'd then few weeks later did the final drop.
There was a brief time she came back on chat all excited and spoke of returning, but it didn't happen. We weren't surprised. lol
...and somehow her joining that doesn't surprise me. ~_~;

Haha, nothing much to see here though? I mean, this is some EPICLY ANCIENT wank. I'm personally just trying to see if I can get least a few more nails banged into that coffin lid as far as the game itself goes. XD It kinda sucks that whenever Paixao comes up, this comes up. It's just SO not relevant to the game as it stands today. lol (Because, yes, the game is very much alive and kicking. \o/) Ang has no association with the comm these days beyond her being the creator.
I mean, don't get me wrong, we know it's part of our history so to speak and think it was some amazingly epic drama. One member who remembers the tales better than I recounted the jist of it for our clueless players tonight. It was pretty lulz. XD But be nice if it was more recognized that Paixao then =/= Paixao now.
Meant obvious more to the people who were involved, kinda banking that no one else in the game would have remembered me. I had joined the game for about a month before that happened (and never posted, whoops) so I wasn't too up-to-date on everything that was going on before it happened.
God, yeah. LOL. I must have still been in high school when all that happened, same with everyone else. They've all moved past it and don't even consider it anymore (I'm fairly sure they don't at least). Ancient wank is way ancient, to the point that I'm surprised it still exists today. Might've been massive, but there has certainly been better and larger. Then again, those games didn't quite survive.
Wasn't it? XD! Kind of cute that it's become a sort of tale/legend/whatever now, and that it was being retold in the chatroom. Sort of makes me think of a troupe of boy (girl?) scouts huddled together by a campfire. HAHA, yes. It was pretty lulz at the time too! Uh, after everything settled.
I can't imagine that it is the same, so I'm wondering why others have difficulty seeing it. Maybe they just like the lulz.

I was there too, anon. Surprise! I only got stories from both sides as they tried to play "alliances".
Some of the hacker's friends weren't even involved by the way - they were just grouped in with the villainy and basically chased out.
