...Take two.

Because someone decided to be a troll with that Monica and Bill image, it's early enough that I think we can start fresh.

I don't want to see that kind of spam again, if you don't mind, thanks. :|

I have a feeling they're just going to keep doing it. ):

Internet Explore does keep the image confined to a comment, so if the Mod here wants to delete those, it does stop the pagebreak elsewhere.

Only time I've used IE lately is for this. SO CLEVER, YOU BACKGROUND-IMAGE SPAN 9BILLION PIXEL PEOPLE.

Maybe, if I were the mod, I'd track IPs and IP ban the troll. Who knows if they are or not. But we'll see.

IP tracking would be... sucky. :/ All I can figure is that they watch for the new comments and delete them as they show up.

Well, only leave it up long enough to track the troll. And there's ways to do it without any of us KNOWING we're being tracked. But IP banning would be the best most permanent solution.

Maybe it's not so common knowledge...! Ahaha, I'm usually the last to know cool stuff.

ljtoys anon. It puts an invisible script into your post that tracks IPs on a seperate website.

But can you link those IPs to individual comments? I doubt it.

It can get pretty accurate if you're matching post times. Just a suggestion anon. I'm sure there's probably other ways that are way more accurate. That's just the one I know.

Use the IE tab in Mozilla ttlyanon October 16 2009, 18:55:52 UTC
If you don't want to use regular IE. You can keep your greasemonkey Expand All and it confines the spammer to a single comment AND doesn't break the scripts on the page.
