Torchwood - Adam and Reset
all I can really say is oh my gosh! although this is more for Reset then Adam but I'm loving this series too much because it's just too good to miss, plus major squeeage in the Jack/Ianto area
Right well first I guess I’ll talk about Adam, throughout this episode I was sitting there just constantly saying ”this is weird” and I already knew about Adam and what he actually did. Geeky Owen was in a way funny, especially when he said he loved tosh, but it wasn’t right and normal owen is better. Plus I can’t decided if he looks hot or worse then normal in the geek outfit. I didn’t like Tosh much because well, she was a bitch, but I do feel sorry for her, she seems to get the passion but she can never keep it.
It was soo good to learn about Grey and Jack’s past, I assume they will expand on that story because of the think that Captain John said in KKBB. His home looked amazing, it reminded me of the way the did galiefrey but with star wars style clothing. The thing about Gwen forgetting made a cute story but it was a little weird and strange. I’m glad that Rhys still knows about Torchwood, it makes him a better character I think.
I didn’t like when Gwen said to Jack “but I love you too” what was that about? Although I think I understand it and it’s bothering me less as the weeks go by but still - NO!
Ianto as a murderer, that bit of him in the rain made me die with laughter due to all the macros I’ve seen of that clip. But I’m also glad that jack didn’t believe him, I thought it was sweet and shows how much Jack cares and knows Ianto that he wouldn’t let that happen.
A bit harsh of Owen about the flowers at the end though - poor Tosh
Ok now Reset. Oh my gosh Martha! I love her and she’s better then ever, I love the banter with her and Jack and the bit about the cap for Ianto haha! I think her character is better and there were soo many references to LotTL in that episode that were so lovely - but the ‘being invisible’ bit made me sad. I liked how Owen was all flirty as he seemed so jealous of her because she’s a better doctor then him now. And Tosh and Owen finally on a date - thank the lord!
I thought Alan Dale was a great character he was so strange and interesting. I thought the plot was good and those lenses were too cool. Ianto had some good lines, especially when he spoke to Martha about his relationship with Jack.
Most importantly though: WTF?????? They shot Owen how could they! If this was an episode or two ago I would have thought - ok, but he was finally going to go out with Tosh nooooo!! I refuse to believe that he’s dead. The plot for next week seems based on his death, the autposy for his death and a grim reaper and lots of weevils - very Owen and therefore he will come back - he has to because Tosh has to be happy. Plus even though I don’t like him much you can’t really kill a main cast member can you???
