juz got back from perth.15 beedelup loop. haha.. thats my address. MY address. MY house. MY home. mine mine mine. Went to UWA.. checked out the campus. Its great! better than i expected. Tot it would be like old and cold... but its not that old looking.. and there's this warm feeling i get when walking around campus. YiPee!
Still looking for housemates.. shouldn't be a problem i hope. i dunno.. somehow i feel like i've grown a few years this past week. Haha.. i think i should rephase that.. i don't think its a matter of growing or maturing.. instead.. its the western auzzie culture that makes me feel like i've "grown". Their culture is soo different. So friendly, so open. And i really, really, reaaally like it. Everybody treats everybody as friends. I didn't even realise the race/colour/watever difference. If there's one thing i wanna pick up there.. its this culture of friendliness. -smile-
haha.. another gung ho thing i did in auzzie.. i went to take the driving test. went to get a copy of the theory book.. studied it for two days.. and went back to take the test.. which i passed!!! hahaha.. so i can drive in perth if i have a L plate. *grinz* $51.20. mann... if i knew.. i wouldn't have started learnin here. But since i've started.. i might as well get my singporean lisence as well. haha..
other than that.. we did the usual stuff... drove around.. swan river, pinnicles, bibra lake, fed the ducks! and kangaroos.. and pelicans! hahaha.. i guess it was a really good trip. A real eye opener for me.. and i guess.. its got me feeling more positive about living abroad in perth.
ohh! met up wif daddys fren richard and jane. Very nice pple.. jane even offered to drive me around sometimes.. but i guess i won't be needing that anymore! :) yeah.. and richard is a cook.. so if i miss rendang or prata or what.. he can whip me up a great singaporean meal. Its really sweet of him to offer all that. Even my immediate neighbours are great. two houses down.. singaporean chinese. across the road.. malaysian. :)
i love the lifestyle there. Its really slow.. and relaxed. Which i think is the best for me. Coz i'll have tons of time to study.. and still have some time to myself.. and a teeny bit left for some fun! hehehe.. i tink three years of hardwork for a degree that will last a lifetime is a good bargain. So beginning july 19th. I aint gonna slack no more.
:):):):):):):):):)
and i got a really sweet surprise when i got back.. a super nice testi. hehehe...
