All this started when I found out Chautauqua is big on bats ... they live there in the old Victorian houses and keep down the mosquitos. When Chris and I eventually get a condo there in one of these old Victorian places, you'd better bet I am going dark, Victorian, and full on BATTY with it.
Meanwhile I spent $450 at pottery barn for some red and black furniture. Sorry, the website doesn't have the pictures, but the 2 pieces are an armoire and a side table. I love shopping for the new place, but I hate California.

Oppressive sunshine and happy people annoy me.
I opened a new back account today and the banker was a moron. He couldn't help me at all with what I needed and was reluctant to ask for help to the Colorado branch I wanted to link my account to. After many subtle suggestions to CALL the branch, I had to literally say "Call the damn branch manager or I will leave!". It was pathetic.
I need a displaced New Yorker support group.
Meanwhile I still plan to dye my hair tonight. I have an Apt in Santa Monica to cut it at 12pm but alas, my furniture is supposed to arrive then. I have a dilemma to fix now...
