I leave for Mexico in few days, Monday to be exact.
Currently I am figuring out I want to bring with; this is no "fun on a beach" type of holiday, it requires adequate planning. Not everyone goes to Mexico for Cancun and Tijuana, some of us LIKE the Aztec plane for it's dry desert heart and possessing jungles. It's a wicked place in many ways.
I think a trip to the Temples is in order as the traveling partner has not been before. Especially as we will make it there in time for equinox -and the serpents shadow. That is quite the treat.
Now only to envision a full Aztec Serpent's Shadow ceremony, and decide who I wish as the 2004 candidate for ritual heart removal. Alas, Clinton might currently provide the "easy access" vote; the candidate I feel is the most deserving doesn't have a heart to begin with.
So far this week Chris has had too many calamitous and catastrophes, so this vacation should and must be hassle free or it will be utterly pointless. The whole concept was to get away from phones, computers and work just for long enough to thoroughly enjoy each other's companionship and purge the pent up slag that this summer dredged up. Touring was not the easiest thing to deduct from our fledgling relationship, but it seems like the lack of companionship made other issues worse instead.
On this trip, we intend to enjoy the inability of life imposing on OUR time for a change.
I saw
lashadora and informed her of her Zim DVD's whereabouts ... in London with
Nils along with my shoes and another DVD.
She was most kind in forgiving my Post-touring behavior. At lease Cevin and Oger signed it for her.
Tonight is a sunset Soiree on my roof with friends. I cannot say who will be there, as they have to turn up to be recognized... replies to invitations are great only when followed through.
Colleen from upstairs wants me to bake an apple pie... I must oblige her as she's finding a hotel for my Father on his return from Spain.
