The Gaelic Storm concert on Thursday night just rocked!!! Chris now understands why I like them so much and is all for going to more of their concerts. He said it was the most energetic concert that he has ever been too! They certainly put on a good, long show!
Friday was spent chilling at K&S's, watching TV, painting nails, and visiting while waiting for everyone to get there for the weekend.
Saturday morning Kari and I hit the farmer's market and went yard saleing. Got the lawn chair I was looking for for $5! (and found the dresser I have been looking for in K&S's carport which is now in the back of my car!) Then curled up in lawn chair when we got home in the back yard watching my body take on a nice shade of red until lunch was ready. Saturday afternoon us girls took the kids to Downtown Greenville. Fabulous place!!!!! Chris and I are so going to have to spend an afternoon down there. Cute shops and boutiques, restaurants with fabulous menus, and a gorgeous park. We hunted the 'mice', got ice cream and curled up on the bank of the river watching the kids chase ducks and slip and slide over the rocks until it was time for Kj's play to start. It was a beautiful afternoon!
Kj did wonderfully!!! I was really impressed and her play was loads of fun. I highly recommend going to see it if you can. It was a great version Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' - tons of fun!
Sunday was tubing! I knew the adventure was going to be interesting when we all got in our tubes and everyone floated down river and I floated back towards the bank. If there was a tree, rock, slow moving water, mini-lagoon... I found it! I also was the one who ended up with the deflating tube and my poor bottom bounced off of a dozen rocks. But I never tipped, didn't get hurt, and never had to get out of my tube to free myself. I had an absolute ball!!! It was a lot of fun hanging with friends laughing, conspiring con outfits, or just floating along day dreaming until someone yelled out "Rozsa - rock!!" :D Can't wait to go again!
