The Sword of Caine was deflected from the throats of the weak blood-drinkers of Las Vegas. Black Hand information was less than adequate for a full scale assault. Though we struck mighty blows in the name of Father Caine, we were unable to route the Camarilla from their nest. Now we sit and watch once more, licking our wounds and raving around the fires at the victory twas stolen from the True Sons and Daughters of Caine. However, it is not without reward that we do this. Many of them met their Final Death last night. Running through the streets, creeping in and out of safe houses like so many rats in a den. We found them, terrorized them and executed as many as we found. Some Sabbat may have been lost, but plenty were taken from the streets of Las Vegas to replenish our numbers. In time their wound may too heal - but next time they will not see the Sword as it plunges through their heart. We may have underestimated the strength of their elders, but soon even they will meet Final Death at our hands.
Glory to the Sabbat! Glory to the Sword of Caine!

The LARP was fun, if a little .... unbalanced. Most of our advantages were taken from us at the last minute. An unfamiliarity with the rules for most of the Sabbat players didn't help much either, since all the experienced LARPers got to be shovelheads with next to no powers and the newbies got to be significant forces with little direction. Kind of like giving a 10 year old a bazooka - he knows what it can do, but when he finally pulls the trigger is he more likely to blow himself up or what he was aiming at?
Anyway, I did have fun and look forward to another Sabbat Raid sometime, hopefully with a much better outcome.
EDIT: Also! I do plan on re-doing that situation. I spent a little bit of time at work today drawing out three floor plans and trying to recreate a table-top playable version in my head. Redeemed, your pack is welcome to try this again and bring the proper vengeance against the Camarilla of Las Vegas. I don't know when everyone will be free, but hopefully this will be a fun 1-shot and then we can talk more about actually running Sabbat again, as I'm sure we're all in agreement that it's about time. (Special note to the Good Doctor M.: Your services may continue through virtual connection to your pack while you maintain a base of operations and laboratory safely away from the front lines.) Dave, feel free to tell Bill he is welcome to join in and either run some of the Cam, shovelheads, or the Sabbat NPCs that were allotted to us at the beginning of the night. I'm fairly sure if we can start around 6:30-7 (given how much and how long combat is in white wolf under these circumstances) we could be done with time to spare - we just need a location/date so please, if you have days you are good for, post here about when you're available. Hopefully we can arrange this somewhere in the next month.
My own times: Mon/Wed - bad. Tues/Thur - manageable. Fri - alternating nights open. Sat - free. Sun - nope.
No breaks until Thanksgiving break.
