Wow just. Wow. Surfing Poly, I found a Player's entry about TVtropes. I'm not the only one! It didn't make sense that no one talked about it... it's a pretty big wiki.
So! The entry's link sent me to one trope I hadn't found before. After chuckling over the Kamina --> kanina thing, I saw this:
"Gintama. It's a near-homophone for kindama, a Japanese word meaning "testicles" (literally "golden balls"...get it?). Try asking "hey, did you see this week's Gintama?" in the language and get ready to get looked at funny." - I love you guys.
HAHHAHAHAHHHAHAA OH GOD LUFFY. That's what I thought first thing. "Say, could you take them out so I could have a look?" "LIKE HELL!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!!!" That chapter was AWESOME. Pure AWESOME. Poor Sanji-san... he would've loved Amazon Lily. The World knows better, though. He'd be killed. Though Sanji-san is pretty amazing at being a One Piece MAN, only Luffy can impress like that! He really is amazing and pure-hearted and kind. (Though not too kind, 'course.) FrankyHouse said it was "kintama", though.
Thank you, as always, TVtropes! Now I'm reminded that I need to catch up on One Piece. Last I remember, they were still escaping from the fourth or third floor of Impel Down. I'll get right to that! Right now! Then Kuroshitsuji... then I need to start the second season of Clannad, and then finally finish Chrno Crusade...
When I go to Japan, I am doing just that, Mr. Troper. Just that.
I need to make a Roxas mood with a bigger laugh. Wide mouth, back-slapping hilarity. 'Cause that would be now.
And dammit, QuickPlayer! divX! WMP! Why won't any of you play my MKV subtitles!!!??? I need to watch my Haruhi season 2! I NEED IT. JOHN SMITH. IT IS EPIC. KYON'S SARCASM IS UNMATCHED. Well, almost.
