Google changed their name to Topeka.
Not. Cool. I mean, the reason is really great, and it's pretty cool that the mayor of Topeka changed it to Google for a month, but. (btw, it was only until the end of March, so I guess I just missed it.)
But Google has permanently changed their name to "Topeka". It has the same number of letters, so they can use the same colors, but. But!
NOW WHAT CAN WE SAY!??!? It's always been "fuckin' Google it". "Fuckin' Topeka it" just doesn't roll off the tongue at all. It's so weird. NOW WHAT WILL KYON SAY TO CHURUYA!? fuiwenfuiwe
Fuck that, man. They have an awesome reason to change it, and I respect it, but I'm not changing the phrase. I'm still saying "Google it". Too confusing, and really, "Google" has too much feelings connected to it.
...I wonder if they'll change their url to topeka.com. I doubt it. No one would find it. Just like Kansas. They might blank out google.com and put a link to send people to topeka.com, but. Still.
