large scale rant
Right, second post of the day, I'm either getting a more eventful life or just developing my ability to talk and gossip. Earlier on Eddie took me down to the theater place to watch a musical called 'Godspell'. Of course he failed to tell me what it was about, I'm not 100% sure he even knew until it started up and they began singing about Jesus (a rough guess as we could barely hear what they were saying over the thumping of their feet against the stage, and the general crappy acoustics of that place). We were with three other people at the time, Jason, Simon and their friend Adel, each of us having our own negative opinion on it. My own was how it seemed far too preachy, i generally hate shows or people like that who attempted to convert you in all sorts of evil ways, Get a fecking life, if someone doesn't believe the same thing as you, you shouldn't force your opinion on them!! Ahh, I feel the beginnings of an evil rant coming on, where's Kate when you need her?
Other things about the play were the general sounding. I couldn't hear what they were on about, and at the scene where the disciples were asking if they'd be the one to betray Jesus, i thought they were saying 'can i be the one to betray you!?' and not, 'Could I be the one ot betray you?' So I had the image in my mind they were all up for the job but only Judas was chosen in the end. Oh well, we all suffer rejection at some point in our life.
One positive was how fluid it was mind, they were well organized and had a lot of energy to burn with the actions they had in it, was impressive. The singing wasn't too bad, and there was a gospel choir at the side, i love them!
---Bare in mind, I have nothing against christianity (well the basics), only born again christians and preachers who will do their best to dampen down other peoples free spirits by destroying the religious variety of the world!! Bastards !! leave others alone, you've already managed to scatter paganism and other ancient cultures to the wind---
Wow, this is becoming a rant, be prepare it continues!
When we got back Eddie wanted to watch something using my computer, a CD with a program he needed to study for his exam. Eddie's friend had also copied a few other random things onto it, one of which was rather odd. Made by Disney, the tittle was 'Death education' with a swastika on the screen behind it.
This instantly caught my attention as when something like disney becomes either malice or cruel and twisted, you just have to laugh. It's as if they've grown up with you, from the naive sweet serene childhood idea's that were there when we were kids, all the way up to the horrors of reality we are facing nowadays.
The short cartoon was about a child born in Nazi germany, and how he was corrupted by propaganda to serve Hitler. Now, I am one person who refuses to take sides quickly, and would rather piece together the story for myself so I can get a clear picture. And I know that the Nazi's weren't all extremely bad people, most of whom were simply brainwashed by this propaganda, and its known that many committed suicide after seeing what happened in the concentration camps.
But this video clip showed some brainwashing tactic from the other side of the fence, used to make people think that they were horrendous demons (not that there ideas were good) still I just thought it was a perfect mirror of what was happening in germany at the time, breeding warriors who hated the opposite side just as much as their enemies hated them.
Anyways, that's my rant over, sorry was kind of aimless, I guess people know me a bit better for reading a rant though, gives you a deeper insight into a person at times, hey i'm starting to feel wise and worldly now, woohoo!
