Day 3: a fanfic
There were two wonderous writers that I just couldn't choose between for this recommendation, so you get TWO! Lol.
londonsophie writes AMAZING Spooks fanfic. She has the talent necessary to write each one of the complex characters, create intricate plots, and to give us fans moments that the show never did (Zaf/Jo!!!). That being said, I recommend her fic "Twelve Days Til the End of the World." It puts our heroes in an apocalyptic scenario, and there are so many twists and turns that you'll stay up reading it until 1 in the morning like I did ;)

And tamsibling writes some of the best Kara/Lee (of Battlestar Galactica) fanfic on the internet. She writes Kara and Lee like she breathes, and she's so good at giving her readers the necessary angst, hurt/comfort, and pilot!love that we all crave. So, without my further rambling, I recommend her fic "Gliding." It takes place during a sort of missing scene when Kara and Lee were on Kobol during the Arrow of Apollo plot.
