So I found this meme while flipping through the memeswhores community. I LOVE recommending all sorts of things to people, and I've found that a lot of shows and books and movies that I've watched have been based on random recs I've found on the internet. Oh, and I'll try to focus on recommending new things, ie things I haven't already highlighted in my journal :)
DAY 1: a song:
I recommend to you all the song "All Fall Down" by One Republic. I first heard the song on the late, great TV show Moonlight, and I fell in love with it. Because, quite simply put, I'm a strings girl. Violins, cellos...they can lift up songs, bring them to an entirely different level. Don't get me wrong, this song is already great with its lyrics and Ryan Tedder has a great voice. But that cello---it makes the song!
And so, there it is. My first recommendation. I'm attaching a link to youtube where you can watch a live performance of the song. Enjoy :)
