(no subject)
I guess the new trend is once a year. Heh. Oh well. What can you do?
So news... not much.
I'm an Uncle. Twice over. A.J. had a son: Holden Kenner. (Not sure on middle name) I'm told dad fell in love at first sight. Who can blame him. I've never met the kid, but hopefully soon.
Also my sister, Chelsea had a son: Nolan Hudson Stanton. I love the hell out of that boy. Little blond-haired, blue-eyed boy. Loves bubbles. :D
Mom has remarried. Richard is his name and they make each other very happy. He is good to her and to us. So where she is happy I'm happy. He's a good man. I like him. Also is very excited to be a grandpa.
I lost the job. My boss was an incompetent idiot. She decided to get rid of most of her good employees in one fell swoop. I don't know why. Maybe she didn't like us. Whatever. Her problem now. She had no way of firing us, so she laid us off. I heard a few weeks after that she "needed people." Karma anyone? Guess she shouldn't have fired the good ones. ;)
Jujitsu is great. After a year or so (Pete estimates two years, I'm not sure...) away from the college, we are finally going back. This means that I will have new partners and people to teach. I'm at the intermediate level. In our system teaching is a large part of the process. For a while now I have been the lowest ranking student... at green belt. (That's about halfway to black) So I'm excited to learn by teaching. And to grow the ranks a little. There have been 6 or less students for months now. First day at the college: 22 students. 18 were new.
Other than that, no news. Excited for some video games soon. Skyrim and Batman for those interested.
Also I rediscovered my love for Dragon Ball Z. Strange though... Where Goku used to be my favorite character, this time I find myself gravitating toward Vegeta and to a lesser extent Picolo. Anti-heroes ftw.
Ok... so... more news than I thought...
So in the words of Picolo: "Sorry to keep you waiting." (It's not the quote itself I love... more how he says it. Kind of a had to be there thing.)
