I went to Thanksgiving at my mom's yesterday with my girlfriend in tow. I had not seen my mom for 2.5 years and had not been back to the old apt. in 5 or 6. First, the apt. looked amazing especially considering what it looked like when I moved out. Second, Hope is the best and my mom was on her best behavior and her boyfriend was SO accommodating and nice. It was amazing how relaxed the whole thing was even if I did pace at times to avoid certain conversations. It was all good.

Oh, and I went there wearing size 34 slacks and medium shirt. ;) I know this is lame to advertise, but it is still crazy for me. I looked like quite the slim gentleman if I do say so myself. Of course my mom told me I am too skinny and need to put weight on in my face. Moms. I brought Hope around the old hood and there are a lot more flags and other touches that made the place really look like Long Island to me (like the schools having neat, maintained signs in front of them). It was a weird trip back in time. And the food was fucking great. Unfortunately, we did not get over to darenzia and bitzar's place since we didn't eat dinner until 7 PM and left a little after 9 PM. Of course mom kept telling me I needed to marry Hope as soon as possible. I guess I should be happy she likes her and bask in the glow of a decent family gathering. Who the fuck knew that could happen?

I bought a christmas tree and some ornaments, lights and ribbons to begin the decoration. Christmas was always my best time as a kid, and I want to feel like this is really the holiday season. I think we are going to put it up tomorrow while sipping soy nog (thanks razorart!!!).

My money situation sucks though I am not pissing my money away. I guess between my 401k, vitamins, supplements, doctors, meds and the gym, I just don't make enough bread.

Work is getting better as my big projects launch and fade out of my life. School progresses and I await word on my loan.

My workout schedule has just changed. We are going to be doing weights 5 days a week with 30 minutes of cardio on 4 of those days (35 on Saturday). I continue to walk 2.5 miles a day, am doing 45 minutes of cardio one day a week and yoga twice a week. We might take Sunday off with God and Jim Baker. Oh, and we continue to do push ups (I am up to 16 - 20 or so) and crunches each night (I will get that chin up bar by December).

i went to see the nutritionist and nurse practitioner on Wednesday, and my calorie limit was raise to 1500/day due to my activity level. I was told I am doing great which I usually realize.
So, it looks like I am going to be moving in with my girlfriend by the end of January (hey! we will have been together 5 whole months by then :P) so if anyone wants to or knows anyone that wants to sub-lease an East Village apartment for a little less than 1100 a month, please let me know. Length of sub-lease is negotiable. Just sayin'. ;)
