This isn't very cool, but my book of photos of an extension of the London Underground in 1924 is out! I was a bit 'whatever' about it before, but now it's in my hand I'm quite excited. Londoners - look out for an interview and competition in Metro (fame is obviously only a heartbeat away after that).

It's one of a series of books with photos from the museum photo collection that are being published by the slightly cheesy "local books for local people" publisher, Tempus.
I selected the photos, scanned 'em, and wrote captions and an introduction. Took forever, but I met my deadline.

I'm worried that I will now be assumed to be an Expert on the line and will be plagued by trainspotters for the next 20 years - I just liked the photos when I first started working here because I grew up in the area.
