Word Count: 100
open_on_sunday Prompt: 208: Green
Characters: Faith & Giles (and maybe a little Faith/Giles)
Disclaimer: Just a bit of mucking about in other people’s sandboxes.

“Giles, know what day it is?”

He didn’t even look up. “Tuesday.”

“Well yes,” Faith rolled her eyes. “But it’s St. Patrick’s Day….”

She let the pause stretch out.

“Well, aren’t you gonna check and make sure I’m wearing green?”

He didn’t stop reading, just reached over and pinched her thigh, hard.

“Hey!” she squealed. “You didn’t even check!”

“Faith, if you were reminding me to check, it means you aren’t not wearing green…or, most likely, underwear . I just thought we could cut to the chase.”

She sulked and secretly wondered how he knew. “Way to suck the fun, Giles.”

Title: Somewhere Else
Author: Vesica
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
open_on_sunday Prompt: 208: Green
Characters: Anya
Disclaimer: Just a bit of mucking about in other people’s sandboxes.

She couldn’t stand this place.

Not this apartment where everywhere she looked she could see him - things they’d bought together, things he’d promised.

Not Sunnydale - the stupid town where’d she lost the woman she really was - Anyanka - and become this girl - Anya - a boring girl, a ‘leave her at the altar’ girl.

And certainly not Southern California. She hated every verdant shade of nature - the all-pervasive green of new life and new growth.

She dug out an old amulet - from before him, from before this place.

Maybe there was needed vengeance somewhere else, somewhere dead…Antarctica sounded pretty good.
