REPOST: An Electric Encounter - A BtVS/Weather Wardens Crossover
Author’s Note: I took a rather roundabout approach to this challenge. Each drabble contains both a positive and negative elemental personality trait, according to astrological interpretation, and the tarot symbol associated with each element. A listing follows the drabbles.
Title: An Electric Encounter

Challenge: Challenge #18: The Elements - Water
Xander turned and watched the long-slung sports car pass. It was a sweet ride, probably the toy of some middle-aged lawyer or banker.
A lightning bolt shot out of the clear sky, striking the roof of the car. He abandoned his mug of coffee and ran towards the car. He could hear the paint sizzling as he got closer.
The door swung open and a petite young woman threw herself from the car.
“Hey, are you-?”
She barreled straight into him as another bolt took out a speed limit sign.
“Stay away from me.”
She took off running. “Lady? Are you sure you’re okay?”
“Run! Get inside somewhere. This isn’t your fight.”
She ducked into the Espresso Pump and he found her standing in an out of the way corner, eyes glazed.
Two bolts hit the street outside in quick succession.
A strong wind blew in and the static prickle that had been in the air was gone.
The woman opened her eyes. “You aren’t great at the following directions are you?”
Xander shrugged. “I thought you might…but since you…did whatever…and the lightning stopped, I am thinking you probably didn’t need my help.”
She smiled. “Not so much, but thanks.”
Water: Drive to help others (Xander) , Control/Controlling (Joanne), and the tarot suit of Cups.
