“You’ve been at this for hours.”
“I know,” she mumbled, adding a bit more essence of belladonna. “But it is my only eighteenth birthday and everyone will be there.”
She tested a few drops on the tabletop, creating a pale pink puff of smoke. Pansy let out a snort of disgust.
“Here. Try it now.” Draco added a pinch of powdered unicorn horn to the brew.
Her face lit up at the deep pink glittering smoke cloud and she threw her arms around him. “It’s perfect!”
Draco smiled at his oldest friend. “A perfect entrance for the perfect Slytherin Princess.”
