Warning: Brief mention of girlyness - and other things
I've been feeling really crampy, which, for once, is frickin' awesome! 'Cause then that means I'll be starting soon, which means I should be done by time I leave for Hawaii. (12 more days!) Which means, haha, yes! Sorry, but I, for one, don't want to be all cramped and bloated when I go scuba diving. God forbid.
Ashlee called not to long ago. It was like a scream-fest or something; I was jumpy and shrieky, and she was shrieky. And she's coming over tomorrow to talk to Mum and to give me her Senior Project packet, so that I can begin the research paper. It's sad: the girl lives a few houses down, and I haven't seen her since school let out for vacation. (A week and a half ago). I miss her. But *glomp!* I get to see her tomorrow.
I was looking for Backstreet Boys piano sheet music on the internet today. Jackpot! I found a website that has a lot, so I'll talk to Daddy later tonight to see if he'll pay the $1.99 a month. And then I found the Greatest Hits: Chapter One piano book, which has The One and *squeaks* Drowning! I can see if I can somehow earn the money for that. God, I'd give anything to know how to play Drowning on piano. (And speaking of piano, I haven't gotten any further on Enya's Watermark, though I'm beginning to understand a little more of where I'm screwing up).
Things at home between Mom and Daughter have calmed down a bit. They're talking again, and they actually shared a few laughs earlier. That's good - I can't stand it when we have tension here. It drives me bonkers.
Hm. Well. I'm going to go and work on Shades of Blue, and then play with more lyrics for my music video. I'm hard to please, and I have yet to find anything that screams "Omg! Use me!" (Those who have sent lyrics in to me - I have nothing against what you've written. I loved them all, but I'm a picky little bitch who is having issues right now).
