June 2: Harry Potter stationery!
June 3: Bye-bye, 'merica!
June 4: Hello, Europe!
I had the most ridiculous trip. I landed in Madrid, where I was supposed to wait for two hours until I left for Tenerife. After standing in line for about half an hour waiting to board, we're told our flight is delayed and that we'll be given more information after thirty minutes. Then forty. Then thirty again. Then forty-five. I spent about five hours waiting for the flight to actually leave, and arrived in Tenerife at 10pm, when I was supposed to be there before 5. I would have slept on the way there, except for the three screaming babies that were on my flight. I had fun.
Hello, Mr. "I'm-the-tallest-mountain-in-all-of-Spain"!
June 5: Made my by grandmother, as it was my cousin's birthday the day after I arrived here.
June 6: Food, food, food.
It means "juices"!
June 8: Guanches (the aboriginal tribe of Tenerife)! These, specifically, are the ones who allegedly saw the Virgen de la Candelaria (Virgin of the Candlestick), the patroness of Tenerife.
The Tenerife Auditorium.
June 10: Love it.
The Basilica of La Candelaria.
So, I've been having the worst luck with my camera this year. First, I leave my charger at home when I went back to Tallahassee after Spring Break. Now, Aurora is (most likely) broken. It just won't turn on anymore. My cousin suggested it might be the battery because Nikon batteries apparently don't last more than a year or two, and I've had my camera for three. I haven't had a chance to test that out because I can't find the battery anywhere, as the model has been discontinued. I'd take it to a repair center, but the nearest one is in Madrid, so that's impossible at the moment. Because of all of this, I was cameraless for about a month, but I've already gotten a tiny one for right now.
Ignoar mah crazy face. His name's Albus :]
