April 16: In preparation for my Leslie-darling-Jane leaving me early and moving to Houston, I made her this little card with Chibiterasu and got her the His Dark Materials series.

So Chibiterasu is the son if the goddess Amaterasu from Okami. As I'm sure is evident from this drawing, LJ's puppy, Emma, looks uncannily like Amaterasu, so the game has a special place in her heart. In February, she got that drawing as a tattoo on her side.

Then Sarah and I went on adventures

And we found an organic food market that reminded me of markets in Venezuela. It was a little strange, but nice.

We saw some green art

And other things

Then we went to Target in search of a kite, and found stationery on the way

And Sarah got me the prettiest stationery I ever did see... and that I still haven't taken pictures of. For shame. But I will, I promise!
We flew kitesss in Lake Ellaaa, but I don't have pictures of that :[

And finally, since we're old, we grew beards!

April 16: Freyja, being awesome.

See what I mean?

April 18: Photo war with LJ as we baked delicious cupcakes.

I won, in case you were wondering.

April 19: Merp.

April 20: Emma eating her last meal at 1918.

A last high-five...

LJ left us little gifts<3

Freyja being dumb and getting stuck places.

April 21: Since I'm leaving soon, I'm already packing up my room. I've already taken down most of my posters and other little things I have on my walls, but I refuse to take this down until I absolutely have to. It's a poster of my favorite painting, The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch, and it's absolutely wonderful. It shows Heaven at the left, Earth at the center, and Hell at the right. It is such an intricate work that I still find new things whenever I look at it. When I move to Madrid, I'll get to see it in person for the first time, and then however many times I want to after that.
I'm so excited my brain can't process it.

April 22: On this day, I helped Dave paint our deck.
