Yesterday went extremely well. We did not get locked out of our apartment, we cooked a delicious dinner without destroying anything, and we successfully installed the copies of Rosetta Stone that Taj burned us. Makes for a boring post, but I~ll take it ( Read more... )

Fletch had the wikipedia article about visceral leishmaniasis up on his computer. I did not know why, figured he thought he had it or something crazy like that. But he wasn't home, so I was left to keep on wondering, and went back to watching House in Hulu. NOT 30 SECONDS LATER the patient on House was diagnosed with visceral leishmaniasis! WUT?!?

Last week I read that article and all its bretheren like five times. Rest assured that every doctor you have from now on will have drawn half their med school knowledge from Wikipedia.

Side note: An exciting coincidence! Also, IT IS NOT A NICE DISEASE TO HAVE. Also, apparently it is creeping north so if Fletch has been chilling with sandflies in southern Texas recently, he~s got a small but fighting chance of having it. You guys can always hope.
