29. Phoenix 1/5/07- 5-4 Phoenix(OT)- This game was extremely triumphant through the first 50 minutes until the Thrashers decided to give up a 4-1 lead they had built courtesy of two Marian Hossa goals, a Kovalchuk breakaway score, and a Jon Sim wrister. Atlanta got entirely too comfortable, and Phoenix clawed their way back into the game way too easily with some average goals, and took the game to overtime tied at four apiece. We started the first minute of the 4th period on the power play, but as usual season, that didn't mean much, and the Coyotes' Yannic Perrault flew into our zone on an "almost" breakaway when Johan Hedberg decided it would be a wonderful idea to sail out of his crease, giving Perrault the opportunity to tap the puck past Moose and into the waiting cage. 5-4 Phoenix, the biggest blow job i've been by the Thrashers... ever.
