10. New York Islanders 3/16/06- 4-2 Atlanta. I attended this game with Chloe, Mike, Laura Beth, and Adam, and because Mike and Chloe and I painted our faces, we got free seats in one of the $80 sections! This game got off to a fast start, with Andy Sutton coming straight out of the gate ready to knock some teeth loose, and Marian Hossa making a beautiful set of moves down the ice to score shorthanded and put the Thrashers up 1-0 at the first intermission. Sutton also added a goal in the second period, and Holik iced the cake with an empty netter to give Atlanta a strong win over a team chasing them in the playoff race. Sidenote: Does history repeat itself? This is the second time I attended a Thrashers game in March, against the Islanders, sitting in the lower level, and correctly predicted the final score. Hmmmm!
