i did my own taxes this year and i'm either getting a lot back for being a graduate student or i'm going to jail from not reading the tax forms right. either way it's cool. i'll probably get a letter in may saying something to the effect of "mr. martinak, you simply cannot do math."
i almost have the midget back together. i put in new front shocks, flexible brake lines, new brake hardline, new front pads and pins, and have everything bled out. It was about time because one shock was worn completely out and the other was siezed. also the rubber bushings connecting the shocks to the kingpins were not round anymore, but rather like little crescents of rubber and rust. my blood blister on my left ring finger still hasn't healed from this yet, and it still hurts to type. i was putting in the new center console version 3.0 that i made and of course as it was going together the electricals in my custom wiring harness quit working. everything in the console would not come on, so i took the entire dashboard apart, and it turned out that it was a loose connection. so i fixed that up easy and spent the next hour re-assembling the dashboard and in the final "does it work?" check discovered that the headlights don't work. so i quit for the night and will go looking for that problem this weekend. hopefully it's another loose wire. damn lucas and their crappy electrics!!!!!
