i just burned 3 1/2 hours working on scholarships and i feel like i barely put a dent in it.
the quiz saturday was fun. my team was really fun. a group of ppl couldnt come because of the snow so for the six prelim rounds before the playoffs we had our team for the first three and then mixed everyone up for the last three. it was really fun- you were quizzing with other people but were quizzing for your normal team at the same time. it was a great way to meet and get to know ppl better.
my team took second, and as our trophies, we got cookies! in honor of the cookie tourney last year. both my teammates have allergies so i got all of them! mmm... delicious.
the trip home was eventful. first we skidded past the exit we needed for dinner and took prolly an extra hour to get back around to it. then we spun out. needless to say, i, the usual calm one, was freaking out. but yeah. thankfully my friend was driving- out of the three of us, he was prolly the best able to avoid hitting other cars. which he did. and i was happy.
it was really nice not having school friday or today. i cant even put my enthrallment into words. :-)
but then i have a game tonight...
