today was worse than the average monday.

so basically i have no friends at school minus a few, and the few i have i only get to see at lunch. the best two i have are going to leave the lunch table for their class. so either i sit at the seniors table, at which i sit in the middle table with no one else and talk to no one, or at my same table with ( Read more... )

if it is a senior table, and your a senior, can't you just sit there voluntarily? And why can't you just sit down next to someone from your class at the table instead of sitting by yourself in the middle.

I could. The problem is, there's three tables, and the rest of my class fill the other two. There's no room for me except in the middle, where no one else sits...

i'm sure that is not entirely true. how many kids are in your class? i am guessing not very many so i do not think that they could completely fill two whole tables. but i don't know, but a seat at a table seems like kind of a minute thing to me, but that is just me.

You're right, there aren't many. There are two tables with two halfs each, and they perfectly fill three of the four halves.

On its own, it's not a big deal. But after being with the same group of kids for six years, it's sad that I have a better time at my table with seventh graders than my own class. Especially in my senior year.
