Long time no update.
Basically...
Senior year started too fast. I want it to be over already.
Youth group has been a huge perk. My old friends Jocelyn and Johnna from aeons ago popped in. That was exciting.
Tecker let me drive his new Crossfire.
Soccer's been okay. Lost the first tourney, then lost first game, then won next four in a row to lose next three. I think we're 4-3 in the league (maybe 4-2, I'm not sure if the last one was league or not). Which is honestly better than I had anticipated, so I'm happy about that. Too bad my teammates are giving me a hard time. I never thought I'd see the day when I didn't look forward to a soccer practice or game.
The girl goalies of the team got interviewed by a newspaper, and a photographer came and took shots of us (plus Jess, the third girl) today at practice. I think the article will be featured some time this weekend.
College class is going okay too. Last time we had an interesting discussion about abstinence vs education, which led to big questions like "what's the purpose of marriage?" and "what's the harm in getting experience before marriage?" Yeah. You can imagine the fun time I had last class.
That's basically all I've got right now. I have a game tomorrow at noon. Which I'm annoyed at cuz that makes me miss the first ever Training Day for quizzing. Roar, but oh well. I hope we at least play good tomorrow. I hope I stop playing to earn my teammates' respect and just play to honor God. I think maybe that's what I've been doing wrong so far...
