in australia
So Im here in australia...sorry i didnt update sooner. Im gonna go through a quick update of the last 2 weeks. The first week I arrived I went to erins house in sydney. We did the tourist thing and saw all the cool sights like the sydney harbour, botanical gardens, manly beach, the opera house. We also climbed the harbour bridge, that was exciting. Went to the Blue Mountains and rode on the steepest incline railway in the WORLD! that was exciting too. oh also went to Koala Park where I pet kangaroos and koalas. Then went to Cairns (pronounced Cans) for Australearn orientation. Its really beautiful there, totally tropical with rainforest and such. very very very humid though. went to cairns tropical zoo where I got a picture holding a koala. very cute! And went to aborginal park where I learned how to throw a boomerang and spear and play a didgeridoo. Went to the Great Barrier Reef, but wasnt able to scuba dive because of stupid asthma. Then came to Townsville, where the school is. Very nice with eucalyptus and palm trees everywhere around campus. very hot but not humid so good. Have orientation week (o-week) where theres lots and lots of drinking lol. its been fun so far. Class start on monday.
