Try as I might, I'm afraid there's still a lot I need to know about this world and its holiday traditions. This is a far cry from a complaint, of course.  I have always enjoyed learning and acquiring new information, even it's mundane knowledge.

This being the case, would anyone be so kind as to tell me what this Valentine's Day is all about?

Simply stated, Valentine's Day (at least in Japan) is where women give chocolate to their friends and loved ones. In return men give a gift in March to those who they received chocolate from.

I'm not sure about other countries, or here. I apologize.

[Tada! Hi hun!]

Ah, I see. Do you happen to know if there is any particular reason for the gift exchange, like we have with the Christmas festivities?

((ooc: Why, hello there! :D))

I believe it is meant to show your affections to someone. Girls share chocolate with their friends, but as far as I understand, by their mid-teens they might also give chocolate to boys they like.

I wasn't one to follow holidays.

Were you not? That's a pity. I'm not familiar with them, but I think they're amusing nonetheless.

Also, thank you for telling me so much about Valentine's Day. It really does sound like a day for celebrations.

A friend of mine keeps me updated. She must talk about it at least a month in advance. Though I do agree, it is rather amusing. The things people will do.

You're welcome. I hope you get caught up soon.

By the way, have we met before?

Ah, is that so? How curious. That almost sounds like someone I know. She was demanding Christmas presents way before I even knew what Christmas was.

Oh, I don't think we have met before, no. Please forgive me for not introducing myself earlier. I'm Clow, former King of Clow country. Pleased to meet you.

((ooc: And so chaos fun begins!))

How fortunate, we have the same name. I am Clow Reed. Pleasure.

I feel we might be talking of the same woman.

[Aye. And so it does!]

Clow Reed...?

Then, I suppose we share much more than a simple name.

Would that be Yuuko, by any chance?

It seems so. How odd.

It would. Should I assume you met her here?

Perhaps not so odd. In fact, I'm hardly surprised by this meeting, for I have heard of your presence in Lumiere once before.

Indeed. I have met many other of your acquaintances in this world, as well.

Yes. I had been here before, but something happened. I'm not sure what, I don't recall anything of that time here.

Do you enjoy reading? I have heard there is a fantastic library that I have yet to see. Would you care to join me there sometime?

Have you? This is divine.

Well, that seems to be just the thing that happens to everyone who has left and returned to Lumiere. They never recall any events from their previous stay.

I most certainly do. And I would rather like to join you whenever it's convenient. This meeting should prove to be very enlightening.

I have. Soel and Larg are most adorable, by the way.

I see. Well, good then. I have not missed out.

I will probably be there often until I manage to build my own. But oh, that might take years. So, perhaps I will be in the library for years then. Hm.

Thank you. I enjoy their company.

Perhaps it would have been better if you could have kept your memories. Then again, everything happens for a reason.

Oh, I'm sure the city library will be very entertaining in the meantime; it has the most comprehensive collection I've ever seen.

You should pay them a visit some time. They will be delighted to see you again.
