This world is strange, extremely strange. I can not fathom the way some things work around here, yet it is very fascinating. I have filled my time with studying and attempting to comprehend, and it is frustrating to not being able to draw immediate conclusions.
However, it is with great joy that I am going to leave this 'motel' soon. I have not been asked for payment once, as baffling as that might be, but I really think it is for the better if I were to live close to my apprentice again and keep an eye on her attempts to cover up her bumbling spell casting progress in controlling and conjuring her heka.

Even though I look forward to it, it also fills me with a little fear- after all, the Pharaoh who is not My Pharaoh but yet is My Pharaoh lives there as well. He goes by the name of Maboroshi as he has forgotten everything due to a certain event no one can tell me more about. It is disheartening to hear that something will.. has happened in Khemet that warrants his death at such a young age, but only to be.. restored to life millennia later? This is something I must study and gather more information about. I am to answer his bidding, as he is My Pharaoh.. but the real Pharaoh is here as well. I think I am giving myself a headache.
