Legends return!
The legend that is Phil Parkinson returns to the Mad Stad on tuesday night with his Charlton team! while i love parky and know he will get a huge cheer when he comes back, we need those 3 points more than ever now, esp as both brum and wolves won at the weekend and we only got a point after a 2-2 draw with plymouth. however by rescuing a draw, we are stil up there and remain 4 points clear of Sheff Utd and Cardiff! Goals from Pearce (who looks likely to miss tuesdays game after having to have stiches in a nasty cut) and Kebe (yep thats right ive missed both of Kebe's goals this season!) brought us back from behind twice! although we had plenty of shots, with some great saves from the plymouth goalie and defence!
BUT also on tuesday, there will be another player who will be welcomed back to the mad stad and that is Glen Little! Little left the club in the summer to join Harry Rednapp at Portsmouth, but after Rednapp left and having suffered a few injuries, Little hasnt really featured in the pompey side! So he has re-joined us on-loan for the rest of the season, including the play-offs if we need him!!!! YAY!!! Alot of the fans were sorry to see Blakey leave, but unlike some players who shall remain nameless but u all know who i mean, Little was Reading through and through and an utter proffessional! He hasnt slagged of the club, players or the fans and just got on with playing football. He was always a fave amoung the fans and i cant wait to see him back at the club on tuesday! Welcome back Blakey, we've missed you!
