footy update before the next game!!!

ok so now ive calmed down abit more now thought id right the teview of Preston as i know there will be a few people waiting to read what ive got to say aobut the game!!

first off for all you who havent been to deepdale, dont believe the rumors, the ground isnt that bad. i had heard alot of bad things about the ground, but personally i liked it (its one of the old style grounds and i love them, reminds me of what football used to be about!) also has the added bit of the national football museum which is fantastic, goes right through since football began and has some amazing memorbilla in it (picture later).

arrived at the ground just in time to see our boys arrive (after traffic on the bloody m6 again!!) their players enternce is so different to most grounds, no seperate bit, literally just a side door, so was able to get even closer than you usually can at away games!!!

inside the ground and it was sit where u want!!! no reserved seating fantastic!!! had it not been raining i might have sat at the front, like i like to, but as it was pissing it down sat a sensiable 24 rows back!!!! had a great view of the pitch though, saw everything that happened!!! team was unchanged from the one against burnley 2 weeks ago, but Harper replacing Henry on the bench (Henry still travelled with squad and no Convey still!!!). we started off lively and pushed preston and got a penalty around about the 27th min mark, when Noel Hunt was brought down. Stephen Hunt sloted home the penalty and 1-0 up!!! and we were away from home. but after this preston pushed us (we had our moments though) and both keepers pulled off some fantastic saves, however i felt as if the back five werent communicating with each other and i was proved right in the second half, when Marcus and Ivar didnt communicate and Preston got an equaliser from it, it being an Ivar OG!!!! not good!!!!! after this Preston were on teh attack and had a number of chances, with Marcus pulling off an amazing save. however things soon turned sour when Marcus didnt punch the ball and again the home side were gifted another goal (this time being the one that won them the game!!). but he remainder of the game saw us pushing forward even further. Doyle had already seen a cracking shot in the first half hit the bar and Noel Hunt and Rosenoir again had chances saves or were inches wide!

BUT in the dying minutes the ref pointed to the stop!!! we all thought another penalty great, but then the preston players swamped the ref and next thing we know, he'd changed his mind and it was a corner and no penalty.....cisse was flat out on the floor having been flattened by their goalie!!! not only this but Stephen Hunt had to go and fetch the ball himself after the ball boys and stewards refused to get it to keep the game going!!! WFT???? had the multi-ball system been abandonned???sure looked like it, but the ref knew nothing about it!! Preston did it off their own backs!!! of course that caused chaos as after the game both Hunt brothers went and addressed the stewards and ball boys about it!! one steward particular got quite nasty to our boys! we werent impressed. dont get me wrong it was a great game of football but again there were moments that just made the game so....well unenjoyable!!!

MOTM as Noel Hunt, never stopped trying to get a goal or helping out defending. Loving Doyle's new attitude too.....loads of players are kicking him, so its a case of if i cant beat them join them!!! lol!!! GO DOYLER!!!
